Every donation helps create flexibility, allowing us to respond to the real-life challenges people face. Whether it is helping someone access training, replacing essential household items, funding travel to appointments or providing practical support during a crisis, this additional money allows us to fulfil the practical steps people need to move forward that traditional funding sometimes cannot. A small amount of financial support can often make a life-changing difference. We are therefore incredibly grateful to Claire and Angie, who took on the London Marathon at the weekend and had a great time while raising £3,000 for our Empowerment Fund.

Their months of training, resilience and determination paid off - not only in completing the challenge but in making a real difference to people in our community. Their achievement is a brilliant example of community fundraising in action and shows how individuals can help create lasting impact. 

Building on their success, we are excited to continue our fundraising efforts with a charity raffle at The Anglia Business Exhibition. This is a fantastic opportunity for the local business community and visitors to come together and support us raise vital funds. 

We are extremely grateful for the generous prizes already donated by Deben Inns, Sutton Hoo, Jimmy’s Farm, Coes, Salthouse Harbour Hotel, Glasswells. Alton Water, The Deben Seal, Baylham Rare Breeds, HotPod Yoga, Insignia Ltd, Pennikkity Pots, Eastern Park Farm, Riverhills Health Club and Spa and The Suffolk Show.  

We are also very thankful to ISSBA for donating a free stand for next year’s Anglia Business Exhibition, worth over £300, which will be included as one of our raffle prizes.  

Raffle tickets will be available to purchase from our stand (no. 24), on the day of the exhibition. We would love visitors to stop by at our stand say hello and take part. 100% of every ticket sold will directly support Anglia Care Trust’s Service Users through our Empowerment Fund, helping us continue to provide assistance where it is needed most. If you would still like to donate, there is still time to do so.
